Elon Musk, the owner of SpaceX and X, has stated that the microblogging network, formerly known as Twitter, will reinstate showcasing headlines in preview cards with URLs. Musk stated in a post on X that the business wants to overlay the title in the upper section of the image on a URL card in a subsequent version.

However, no particular rollout date or example of the card’s appearance was supplied.

However, the headlines will be “still overlaid on the image” on the platform.

Earlier this month, Musk stated that X would stop displaying titles containing URLs in previews in order to “improve aesthetics.” Following this declaration, the corporation put the plan into action, ceasing to display headlines in October.

However, preview card headlines are making a comeback. Users were forced to click or tap on the URL card to find the title or view the headline on X as a result of the change.

Publishers began creating their own titles on images and distributing the link independently or putting the headline within the image of the created preview card to respond to this development.

Meanwhile, the X and SpaceX founder recently stated his desire to turn the microblogging platform into a top dating and job recruitment site, emphasizing enhanced video live-streaming for sports and political events.

Musk noted an emphasis on evaluating individuals based on their previous posts on the platform in a recent meeting with X workers and CEO Linda Yaccarino.

Musk stated that X, formerly Twitter, will compete with programs such as LinkedIn, FaceTime, and even dating apps.
